We are pleased to inform about the new version of Elva DMS, as its improvements will significantly increase the effectiveness of work and will make easier the use of system. Now Elva interface, as in the new version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009, is based on the so-called principle of Role Centre. This means that every user of the system can create the convenient for him, transparent working environment, reflecting on the computer screen only those functions, which are necessary for his work. These adjustments can be made without any special knowledge in the field of programming.

The annual Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) was being hold in Los Angeles from July 10 to July 14. This is the Microsoft biggest international event, where this year took part 16 000 participants from 135 countries. In this conference Microsoft widely informed about the strategy of the next financial year, presented new products, common IT development tendencies, as well as communicated with partners and customers. According to surveys, the residents of Los Angeles consider the Microsoft Conference as one of the most important annual events, and the public awareness of it is extremely high.

Mercedes dealer in Mongolia - Mongolian Star Melchers Ltd- has made the decision in favor of Elva DMS solution. This company started the implementation of the solution Elva DMS developed by Elva Baltic in December of the previous year. Since 1998 company Mongolian Star Melchers is the General Agent of the company Daimler Benz AG and it also ensures repair services for Mercedes-Benz clients in Mongolia.

Although at present there is a tendency towards the extension of the usage of electronic documents and the circulation of electronic data, the “extinction” of paper documents cannot be anticipated so soon.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is the latest version of the Microsoft customer relations management solutions, which has been developed further and verified, and now it is available to users, containing much more updates than the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 version. Of course, the release of the new version is to large extent connected with the cloud computing tendency, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is being offered both „in the clouds” and in a company as a fixed installation. In Latvia CRM 2011 will be available in April this year.
