Trasta komercbanka is one of the oldest commercial banks in Latvia. It was founded in 1989 with a name of „Riga Bank”. Starting from 1995 bank is working with its current name - „Trasta Komercbanka”.
Last June management of Trasta Komercbanka made a decision on the implementation of the accounting and business management system Microsoft Dynamics NAV by integrating it with the specialized bank system. System pre-implementation diagnostics has just been completed by specialists of Elva Baltic.

With the help of Microsoft Dynamics NAV the following function will be performed: accounting of economical and administrative expenses, development of cost budget and analysis, as well as accounting of VAT operations, development of VAT declarations, etc. Data exchange of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is integrated with the bank system to ensure providing of data in the bank system to form single reports.

Likewise entire business environment in Latvia is subject to various changes and challenges the same things are faced by the bank business. At the moment Trasta Komercbanka applying its substantial experience ensures wide scale of services. Strategy of the bank is to specialize on servicing of corporative clients and transactions with securities. Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV will substantially improve management and administration processes of the bank by making them more transparent and effective.
