Elva Baltic offers individual system user training for local governments which as the result of uniting will start using of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. In addition we have prepared special proposals for local governments for acquiring of licenses as well as we suggest to choose our special solutions for local governments (kindergarten accounting module, procurement agreement processing module, salary/wage calculation module adjusted for local government specifics, several special reports).

Today there is no necessity to prove that information circulation is a significant prerequisite for a successful management and making of accurate decisions. This is the explanation of growth of information technologies in all fields of life. And local government is not an exception.

Among clients of Elva Baltic there are 15 local governments (incl. local governments of Valmiera, Kuldīga, Ogre, Ādaži, Jaunpiebalga, Allaži, Ilūkste, and others). It is envisaged that as the result of the regional reform several local governments will be united. And this process will result in optimization of administration resources as well as transition to more a progressive accounting and financial management system in the local governments that were working with systems with more narrow functionality.

The largest changes will be faced by Kuldīga County that will be jointed by 14 parishes. Kuldīga City Council is already working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV for several years. In future this system will be used also by the management structures of new parishes. Likewise, several parishes will join Counties of Aloja, Ilūkste, Mazsalaca and Jaunpiebalgas. Along with the reform processes it is possible that in Ogre County transition to Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be done in eight additional parishes. In Limbaži County there are also discussions taking place on wider application of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be continued without changes in Valmiera City Council and Ādažu County Council.

Work specifics of local governments from other fields differ in several essential aspects. However, firstly this work is related to with a possibility to impact important processes of the country. Along with the recently performed territorially-administrative reform as well as the complicated economical situation responsibility of local governments will increase even more regarding development of cities and counties.
